Orange tags adorned everything from buildings to the swimming pool to office plants, listing gifts to various facilities. "Tuition and fees fund about 88 percent of the university's operating budget. The rest comes from generous donations from alumni, friends, parents, students, faculty and staff," said Joan Minasian, director of annual giving. "Take away everything with a tag and you can imagine what the FPU campus and centers would look like without our donors," added Ali Sena, director of alumni development. In response, hundreds of students, faculty, staff and administrators signed a thank you board outside Alumni Hall, and posters at all the regional centers, showing their appreciation for all who support FPU.
