Editor's Note regarding the cover photo of May 2020 Pacific magazine

The cover of the printed May 2020 Pacific magazine is a photo of an FPU alumnus praying with an African man while working in an international mission. The issue was created prior to the recent incidents which have once again exposed racial tensions and highlighted the need for reconciliation and healing in our country. Given the country's current racial and social tensions, we recognize the possible contrast between the content of the photo and our intention in using it.
